<br />Resolution No. PC-95-58 <br />Page 13 <br /> <br />e. Any future restaurant on the site shall include a <br />contained area for cleaning mats, containers, and <br />equipment. The wash area shall be covered or shall be <br />designed to prevent runoff onto or from the area. The <br />area shall be connected to the sanitary sewer, subject to <br />approval by DSRSD, or shall be collected in a containment <br />area and removed regularly by a disposal and recycling <br />service. If connected to the sanitary sewer, a <br />structural control such as a sand filter or oil/ water <br />separator shall be used, and a sign shall be posted <br />prohibiting the dumping of hazardous materials. Other <br />methods may be used subject to the approval of the <br />Director of Building Inspection. The applicant shall <br />instruct employees to conduct all washing activities in <br />this area. <br /> <br />f. The rear eight foot (8') portion of the truck loading <br />area shall be covered unless the developer can <br />demonstrate to the satisfaction of the Planning Director <br />and the City Engineer that the design of the <br />trailer/loading door connection will prevent potential <br />storm water contaminants from falling into the truck <br />loading well. No other area shall drain into the loading <br />area; a containment berm shall be installed to prevent <br />such drainage the design to be implemented to the <br />satisfaction of the City Engineer/Director of Building <br />Inspection. A regular program of sweeping/vacuuming, <br />litter control, and spill cleanup shall be implemented. <br />Such program shall be submitted to the Planning Director <br />for review and approval prior to issuance of building <br />permits. <br /> <br />g. The applicant shall label all on-site storm drain inlets <br />wi th the wording, "No Dumping - - Drains to Bay" using <br />City-approved methods and materials. On-site storm drain <br />facilities shall be cleaned a minimum of twice a year as <br />follows: immediately prior to October 15 and once in <br />January. Additional cleaning may be required if found <br />necessary by the City Engineer/Director of Building <br />Inspection. <br /> <br />h. Prior to the commencement of any clearing, grading, or <br />excavation, the applicant shall submit a copy of the <br />State Water Resources Control Board Notice of Intent <br />(NOI) for coverage under the State Construction Storm <br />Water General Permit. <br />
