<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-95-40 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DENYING THE APPLICATION OF JAMES KNUPPE (SA RENT-A- <br />SPACE) FOR PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL, <br />AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-95-02 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, James Knuppe (5A Rent-A-Space) has submitted an <br />application for Planned Unit Development development plan <br />approval to construct a two-story, 108,000 square foot <br />self-storage facility at 5700 Pleasant Hill Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) <br />- Commercial/Office District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed meeting of June 28, 1995, the <br />Planning Commission, after considering all public <br />testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this application, recommended <br />approval of the proposed negative declaration for Case <br />PUD-95-02; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the project does <br />not meet the purposes of the PUD considerations as stated <br />in the Planning Commission Staff Report and attached <br />hereto. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. Denies the application of James Knuppe (SA Rent-A- <br />Space) for Planned Unit Development development plan <br />approval to construct a two-story, 108,000 square foot <br />self-storage facility at 5700 Pleasant Hill Road. <br /> <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective 15 days after <br />its passage and adoption, unless appealed prior to that <br />time. <br />
