<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-95-37 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF SEARS ROEBUCK, <br />INCORPORATED FOR DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL AS FILED UNDER CASE <br />Z-95-73 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Sears Roebuck, Inc. has applied for design review <br />approval to construct a department store for the Sears <br />Company at the Stoneridge Mall, consisting of a three- <br />story, approximately 177,930 square foot building with a <br />semi-attached, single-level parking deck located on the <br />easterly side of Stoneridge Mall between Macys and <br />Nordstroms; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is C-R(m) Regional Commercial <br />(Stoneridge Mall) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposed project is covered by the negative <br />declaration previously approved by the City Council under <br />the current development agreement covering the Stoneridge <br />Mall; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed meeting of June 14, 1995, the <br />Planning Commission considered all public testimony, <br />relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the City staff <br />concerning this matter; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed <br />project is an excellent and attractive addition to the <br />Stoneridge Mall. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. Approves Case Z-95-73, the application of Sears <br />Roebuck, Inc., for design review approval to construct a <br />department store for the Sears Company at the Stoneridge <br />Mall, consisting of a three-story, approximately 177,930 <br />square foot building with a semi-attached, single-level <br />parking deck located on the easterly side of Stoneridge <br />Mall between Macys and Nordstroms, subject to the <br />conditions shown on Exhibit "B," attached hereto and made <br />a part of this case by reference. <br /> <br />section 2. This resolution shall become effective IS days after <br />its passage and adoption unless appealed prior to that <br />time. <br /> <br />- <br />
