PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. PC-95-37 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF SEARS ROEBUCK, INCORPORATED FOR DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL AS FILED UNDER CASE Z-95-73 WHEREAS, Sears Roebuck, Inc. has applied for design review approval to construct a department store for the Sears Company at the Stoneridge Mall, consisting of a three- story, approximately 177,930 square foot building with a semi-attached, single-level parking deck located on the easterly side of Stoneridge Mall between Macys and Nordstroms; and WHEREAS, zoning for the property is C-R(m) Regional Commercial (Stoneridge Mall) District; and WHEREAS, the proposed project is covered by the negative declaration previously approved by the City Council under the current development agreement covering the Stoneridge Mall; and WHEREAS, at its duly noticed meeting of June 14, 1995, the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the City staff concerning this matter; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed project is an excellent and attractive addition to the Stoneridge Mall. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. Approves Case Z-95-73, the application of Sears Roebuck, Inc., for design review approval to construct a department store for the Sears Company at the Stoneridge Mall, consisting of a three-story, approximately 177,930 square foot building with a semi-attached, single-level parking deck located on the easterly side of Stoneridge Mall between Macys and Nordstroms, subject to the conditions shown on Exhibit "B," attached hereto and made a part of this case by reference. section 2. This resolution shall become effective IS days after its passage and adoption unless appealed prior to that time. -
