LN TIrE CIT~ COUNCIL OF THE CIT~ OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> COUNT~' OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NOo 279 <br /> <br />Establishing the Office of Director of <br />Finance and Defining and Setting Forth <br />the Powers and Duties Thereof <br /> <br /> The City Council of the ~ity of Pleasanton~ does ordain as follows: <br /> Section 1, Pursu.~nt to the pr0v~sion of Section 40805,;5 of the <br /> <br />ment Code of the State of Califoraia~ tJlere is hereby cremated and established the <br />office of Dixector~Fix~nce of the City of Pleasanton~ <br /> <br /> Section 2o The fln~nciaX av~ accounting duties '~mposed upon the City <br />Clerk by Sections 40802 to 40805~ '~bo~ inclusive~ of the Government Code be and <br />the same are hereby transferred to the said Director of Finance~ ~nder the d~rec- <br />~ion of ~he City ,klministrator, he .~a_]l perfor~ 2he fo].~owLug duties: <br /> <br /> 1o F. aintain all records readily reflecting the financ~l condition <br /> of said C~ty and ~ of its depa~b~ents~ <br /> <br /> 2, At the end of each £isca~ yeo~z prepare and present to the City <br /> Gounci~ a su~nary staten~nt of receipts end d~sburs~n~nts by depart~en2s <br /> and funds, including opening and closing ffund balances in the City <br /> ury; <br /> <br /> 3.
