IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEAS~ON <br /> COUNTY OF AL~V~DA, STATE OF CALIFOPA'IA <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 278 <br /> <br /> The City Council does hereby ordain, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1)' Pursuant to Section 51508, Government Code, the City C~Ancil does <br />hereby fix the amounts of revenue necessary to support the City of Pleasan- <br />ton and its administrative departments for the fiscal year of 1957-58 to <br />be raised from property taxes to be the following amount: $48,752. <br /> <br /> 2) The City, having received from the County Auditor a written state- <br />ment concerning the total value of proper~y within the City, taken from the <br />Assessment Books of the County of Alameda as equalized and corrected, and <br />in accordance with Section 51511 of the Government Code, does hereby fix <br />the tax rate as follows: <br /> <br /> Forty-four cents ($ .4J+) - Bor~ Eademption and Interest Fund <br /> Ninety-six cents ($ .96) - General Fund <br /> One Dollar Forty Cents ($1.40) - Total <br /> <br /> Said rate is designated in the dollars and cents of taxes upon each <br />One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) of property, as assessed and equalized. <br /> <br /> 3) The City Clerk is instructed to transmit certified copies of <br />this ordinance to the County Auditor and Tax Collector. <br /> <br /> 4) This Ordinance being a revenue measure shall become effective <br />immediately. <br /> <br /> DATED A~D PASSED THIS 26th day of August, 1957. <br /> <br />~ayor of the City of Pleasanton <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />City Cl~k of the City of Pleasanton <br /> <br /> <br />
