In Iesponse to Commissioner McGuirk's inquiry of how long these interim standards will be
in place, Mr. Swift advised that for North Sycamore it is dependent on how quickly the
major projects are developed. He feels that by 1998-1999 the major infrastructure will be
built. The Vineyard Corridor will depend on what the final General Plan is for that area.
He feels development could be accomplished by the year 2000.

A motion was made by Chainnan Wright, seconded by Commi...~ioner Lutz,
recommending approval of interim development standards for the Vineyard Corridor
and North Sycamore Area to the City Council, as shown in Exhibit A, with the
following modifications:

2. Change "unless a variance is obtained from the Alameda County Board of
Supervisors" to "unless a variance is obtained from the Pleasanton City
Council. "

9.
