CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> COUNTY OF AIA~EDA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> OILDINANCE NO. 257 <br /> <br /> Amending Ordinance #228, as amended, provides <br /> for the zoning and restriction of land use <br /> within the City of Pleasantono <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBI 01~DAIN AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. SECTION 17 is hereby added to Ordinance #228 to read as follows: <br /> <br /> SECTION 17. The territory annexed since Februar~ 1, 1954, <br /> as shown on attached map, made a part hereto, being that <br /> property northerly of Arroyo del Valle, easterly of Santa <br /> Rita Road and southerly of the Western Pacific Railroad <br /> tracks, is hereby included in Zone 3 (Business ~ Commercial). <br /> The other property shown on said map, being all of the <br /> property presently in the City Limits, northerly of the <br /> Western Pacific Railroad tracks, easterly of Santa Rita <br /> Road and westerly of Henry Ij. Kaiser Company property, with <br /> the exception of the property of Roy N. jensen and Elred <br /> Chance, further described below, is hereby zoned as an <br /> interim measure pending the adoption of the revised zoning <br /> ordinance and employed solely in the following uses: <br /> <br /> 1) Single Family Residential Dwellings. <br /> 2) No Home Occupations Permitted. <br /> <br /> The below described property as an interim =~easure pending <br /> the adoption of the revised zoning ordinance, is hereb)=' <br /> zoned for non-residential use subject to the following <br /> restrictions: <br /> <br /> 1) The property may be emi>loyed solely in the <br /> following uses: <br /> (a) AdnLinistrative and executive offices. <br /> (b) Professional offices and medical clinics. <br /> (c) Off-street parking lots required to service <br /> permitted uses. <br /> (d) Accessory buildings and appurtenant to <br /> permitted uses. <br /> (e) One sign appurtenant to pennitted uses, no <br /> sign to exceed two (2) square feet in area. <br /> <br /> 2) Structures shall be essentially residential in <br /> character and shall harmonize the architecture of <br /> existing structures ad.jacent to them, <br /> <br /> 3) No structure shall be in excess of one story or <br /> fifteen (15) feet in height, <br /> <br /> 4) Off-street parking space for each two hundred (200) <br /> square feet of office floor space plus one (1) <br /> parkin~ space for each employee or staff member <br /> shall be provided, <br /> <br /> 5) ~uimum lot coverage shall be 25~, <br /> <br /> 6) A permanently landscaped strip no less than ten (10) <br /> feet wide abutting residential property lines and no <br /> less than twenty (20) feet wide abutting all public <br /> streets shall be maintained. <br /> <br /> <br />
