election held in the City at which election a member of the City <br />Council is elected; the purpose of this provision is to allow any <br />newly elected member of the City Council or a reorganized City <br />Council to observe the actions and ability of the City Administra- <br />tive Officer in the performance of the powers and duties of his <br />office. After the expiration of said ninety day period afore- <br />mentioned, the provisions of the preceding section as to the re- <br />moval of said City Administrative Officer shall apply and be <br />effective. <br /> <br /> Section 30. REPEAL: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances of <br />the City of Pleasanton i~ conflict herewith are hereby repealed. <br /> <br /> Section 31. CONSTITUTIONALITY: If any section, sub-section, <br />sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance is, for any reason, <br />held to be unconstitutional, such decision shall not effect the <br />validity of the remaining portions of this ordins~.ce. The City <br />Council of the City of Pleasanton hereby declares that it would <br />have passed this ordinance and each section, sub-section, sentence <br />clause and phrase thereof, irrespective of.the fact that any one <br />or more of the sections, sub-sections, sentences, clauses or <br />phrases thereof be declared unconstitional. <br /> <br /> Section 32. CERTIFIC~TI0~J; The City Clerk is hereby ordered <br />and directed to certify to the passage of this 0rdinsnce and to <br />cause the same to be published once in The Pleasanton Times, a <br /> <br />newspaper of general circulation printed, published and circulated <br />in the City of Pleasanton.
