CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, ALAMEDA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 05-016 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A GRANT APPLICATION FOR THE <br /> CALIFORNIA HOUSING FINANCE AGENCY H.E.L.P. (HOUSING <br /> ENABLED BY LOCAL PARTNERSHIPS) PROGRAM FOR FINANCING THE <br /> PARKVIEW REGENT ASSISTED LIVING PROJECT IN PLEASANTON <br /> <br />WHEREAS, submission of an application to the California Housing Finance Agency (CalHFA) <br /> Housing Enabled by Local Partnerships (HELP) program is required to be eligible <br /> for certain funds to 10c used as part of the permanent financing plan for the <br /> Parkview Regent Assisted Living Project being developed by BLP Partnership, <br /> Inc., in cooperation with the City of Pleasanton; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Housing Element of the City's General Plan includes goals and policies <br /> promoting the enhancement of senior low- and moderate-income households; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of March 15, 2005, the City Council reviewed the report of the City <br /> Manager (SR:05:090) regarding the grant application to thc CalHFA H.E.L.P. <br /> program to assist with the financing of thc Parkvicw Regent Assisted Living <br /> Project; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Council authorizes staff to submit an application to CalHFA for funding through the <br /> HELP Program. <br /> <br />Section 2. Council authorizes the City Manager, or his/her designee, to sign all necessary <br /> documents on behalf of the City of Pleasanton related to the funding application. <br /> <br />Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
