<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-2004-63 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF PLEASANTON PRESBYTERIAN <br />CHURCH FOR DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL, AS FILED UNDER CASE PDR-377 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Pleasanton Presbyterian Church has applied for design review approval to <br />construct a church complex consisting of four buildings measuring approximately <br />24,108 square feet, 29,718 square feet, 20,344 square feet, and 8,240 square feet, <br />respectively, to be located at the northeast corner of the intersection of Valley <br />Avenue and Busch Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD-LDR/MDR/HDR/P&I (Planned Unit <br />Development - Low Density ResidentialIMedium Density Residential/High <br />Density Residential/Public & Institutional) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of October 27,2004, the Planning Commission <br />considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this project was included in the scope of the mitigated Negative Declaration <br />prepared and adopted in September 2002 for the PUD pre-zoning and <br />development plan review for the Busch Property (PUD-18); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has determined that there are no substantial changes to <br />the project or to the circumstances under which the project is undertaken that <br />involve new sigoificant environmental effects or substantially increase the <br />severity of previously identified effects, and that there is no new information of <br />substantial importance not known at the time the previous mitigated Negative <br />Declaration was adopted regarding the project or its effects, mitigation measures, <br />or alternatives; therefore, no additional environmental documentation was <br />prepared for this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed project is consistent with <br />the appearance of the existing buildings in the area. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Approves Case PDR-377, the application of Pleasant on Presbyterian Church for <br />design review approval to construct a church complex consisting of four buildings <br />measuring approximately 24,108 square feet, 29,718 square feet, 20,344 square <br />feet, and 8,240 square feet, respectively, to be located at the northeast corner of <br />the intersection of Valley Avenue and Busch Road, subject to the conditions <br />shown in Exhibit "B," attached hereto and made part of this case by reference. <br /> <br />III . <br />
