<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-2004-62 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DENYING THE APPEAL OF ANNE FOX AND BRIAN ARKIN, <br />AS FILED UNDER CASE PAP-71 (PSDR-208) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Anne Fox and Brian Arkin have appealed the Zoning Administrator's approval of <br />Case PSDR-208, the application of Bob Kocik, Worldwide Signs, for sign design <br />review approval to install a vinyl window sign for the for the "Just Tires" store <br />located at 2 California A venue in the Stanley Business Park; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD-C (Planned Unit Development - Commercial) <br />District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of October 13, 2004, the Planning Commission <br />considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt from the requirements of the <br />California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Denies Case PAP-71, the appeal of Anne Fox and Brian Arkin, thereby upholding <br />the Zoning Administrator's approval of Case PSDR-208, the application of Bob <br />Kocik, Worldwide Signs, for sign design review approval to install a vinyl <br />window sign for the for the "Just Tires" store located at 2 California A venue in <br />the Stanley Business Park, subject to the conditions shown in Exhibit "B," <br />attached hereto and made part of this case by reference. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective 15 days after its passage and adoption <br />unless appealed prior to that time. <br />
