<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-2004-60 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF GEORGE KARPATY, AURA <br />REST AURANTINIGHTCLUB FOR DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL, <br />AS FILED UNDER CASE PDR-408 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, George Karpaty, Aura Restaurant/NightClub, has applied for design review <br />approval to construct exterior changes, including new signage, to the existing <br />Sh-Boom restaurant/nightclub located at 4825 Hopyard Road in the Gateway <br />Square shopping center in the Hacienda Business Park; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the property is zoned PUD-lIC-O (Planned Unit Development- <br />Industrial/Commercial-Office) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of October 13,2004, the Planning Commission <br />considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt from the requirements ofthe <br />California Enviromnental Quality Act (CEQA); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed project is consistent with <br />the appearance of the existing buildings in the area. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Approves Case PDR-408, the application of George Karpaty, Aura <br />Restaurant/Nightclub, for design review approval to construct exterior changes, <br />including new sigoage, to the existing Sh-Boom restaurant/nightclub located at <br />4825 Hopyard Road in the Gateway Square shopping center in the Hacienda <br />Business Park, subject to the conditions shown in Exhibit "B," attached hereto <br />and made part of this case by reference. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective 15 days after its passage and adoption <br />unless appealed prior to that time. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />- <br />
