PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. PC-2004-54 RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE FOR THE USE OF INCLUSIONARY UNIT CREDITS AS PROVIDED IN THE CITY INCLUSIONARY ZONING ORDINANCE WHEREAS, the City Council adopted an Inclusionary Zoning Ordinance in November 2000, which Ordinance provides for the application ofInclusionary Unit Credits (lUe's) in excess of the required number of Inclusionary Units in one project to meet the affordable housing requirements of another project; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of June 29, 2004, the City Council reviewed the City's Inclusionary Zoning Ordinance and determined the need to develop guidelines for the application ofIUC's; and WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of August 25,2004, the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the City staff concerning the guidelines for the use of IUC's as provided in the City's Inclusionary Zoning Ordinance. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. Section 2. Recommends approval of the Guidelines for lUe's as shown in Exhibit A, with the inclusion of the amendments by the Housing Commission, attached hereto and made part of this case by reference. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
