<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-2004-52 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF RUDY CORTEZ FOR DESIGN <br />REVIEW APPROVAL, AS FILED UNDER CASE PDR-379 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Rudy Cortez has applied for design review approval to construct three apartment <br />units ranging in size from 843 square feet to 1,147 square feet and related <br />improvements at 254 Ray Street, with the existing I ,030-square-foot residence to <br />be retained and used as a fourth apartment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is C-C (Central Commercial), Downtown Revitalization, <br />Core Overlay District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of August 11, 2004, the Planning Commission <br />considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt from the requirements of the <br />California Enviromnental Quality Act (CEQA); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed project is consistent with <br />the appearance of the existing buildings in the area. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. Approves Case PDR-379, the application of Rudy Cortez for design review <br />approval to construct three apartment units ranging in size from 843 square feet to <br />1,147 square feet and related improvements at 254 Ray Street, with the existing <br />1 ,030-square-foot residence to be retained and used as a fourth apartment, subject <br />to the conditions shown in Exhibit B, attached hereto and made part of this case <br />by reference. <br /> <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective 15 days after its passage and adoption <br />unless appealed prior to that time. <br /> <br />... - <br />
