<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-2004-44 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE APPLICATION OF <br />THE CITY OF PLEASANTON TO AMEND CHAPTER 18.110 <br />(PERSONAL WIRELESS SERVICE FACILITY) OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />MUNICIPAL CODE, AS FILED UNDER CASE PRZ-24 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasant on has filed an application to amend Chapter 18.110 (Personal <br />Wireless Service Facility) of the Pleasanton Municipal Code regarding the <br />regulation of the placement and design of wireless communication facilities; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of July 14,2004, the Plarming Commission <br />considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning the amendment of the Municipal Code; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt from the requirements of the <br />California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 2 I 080.17 of <br />the California Public Resources Code; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Plarming Commission determined that the proposed amendment would <br />regulate the placement and design of wireless communication facilities. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Recommends approval of Case PRZ-24, the application of the City of Pleasanton <br />to amend Chapter 18.110 (Personal Wireless Service Facility) of the Pleasanton <br />Municipal Code regarding of the Pleasanton Municipal Code regarding the <br />regulation of the placement and design of wireless communication facilities, as <br />shown on Exhibit A, attached hereto and made part of this case by reference. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br />adoption. <br /> <br />Ifl <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />- <br />
