JORDAN, Secretary of State of the State of California, hereby certify: That on the 14th day of February,1956, pursuant to the provisions of the "Annexation Act of 1913, " more particularly Sections 35142, 35144 and 35145 of the Government Code, annexation papers were received in my office and filed in the official records thereof, as follows: 1. A Statement or Certificate by Margaret L. Conner, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, under the seal of said City, showing: December 13, 1955,as the date of the special election held in that certain contiguous territory, hereinafter designated, on the question of annex- ation thereof to said City; December 20, 1955,as the date of the canvass of the returns of said election by the City Council; The result of such canvass; there having been 21 votes cast, of which 20 votes were in favor of adoption of the annexation proposition and 1 vote against adoption thereof; A description of the boundaries of the territory. 2. A certified copy by said City Clerk of Ordinance No. 254 as regularly passed and adopted by the City Council on the 9th day of January, 1956, setting forth approval of the annexation to the City of Pleasanton of that inhabited territory in which the aforementioned election was held and designating such territory as: RAdams Court.u rtr n 't.
