IN THE CITY COL~NCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEAS~0N <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE N0. 247 <br /> <br /> Designating as County Highways Portions <br /> of First Street and Vineyard Avenue. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS the Board of Supervisors of the County of <br />Alameda, by Resolution No. 75686 dated May 24, 1955, did <br />declare a portion of First Street and a portion of Vineyard <br />Avenue within the city limits of the City of Pleasanton to be <br />a County Highway; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS it appears to the benefit of the City of <br />Pleasanton to have said streets made a part of and included <br />in the County Highway System; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of <br />Pleasanton does hereby ordain as follows: <br /> <br /> Section l: That the City of Pleasanton, acting through <br />its Council, does hereby consent to the establishment of <br /> <br />County Highways within the city limits of the City of Pleasanton <br />with respect to construction, maintenance, improvement and <br />repair, the following described streets and highways, to wit: <br /> <br /> All that portion of FIRST STREET lying between a point <br /> 150 feet southwesterly of the center line of Vineyard <br /> Avenue and the northerly boundary line of the City of <br /> Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> All that portion of VINEYARD AVENUE lying westerly of a <br /> point 150 feet easterly of the center line of First <br /> Street. <br /> <br /> As said Street and Avenue are shown on that certain map <br /> entitled "Map of the PleaSant on Homesteads" etc., <br /> filed March 7, 1885 in Book 6 of Maps at page 30 <br /> thereof, Records of Alameda County, California. <br /> <br /> Section 2: This ordinance shall be published once in <br />the Pleasanton Times, and shall become effective thirty (30) <br />days after such publication. <br /> <br /> -1- <br /> <br /> <br />
