PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. PC-2004-26 RESOLUTION ADOPTING A NEGA TIVE DECLARATION FOR THE APPLICATION OF CARDEN WEST SCHOOL, AS FILED UNDER CASE PCUP-lll WHEREAS, Carden West School has applied for conditional use permit approval to allow the operation of a private school having a projected enrolment of up to 440 students from preschool through the eighth grade in an existing building located at 4576 Willow Road in the Hacienda Park; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission received and reviewed the Initial Study, dated April 28, 2004, and received the recommendations of staff; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of April 28, 2004, the Planning Commission received a proposed negative declaration for Case PCUP-111; and WHEREAS, the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that approval of the proposed project would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission further finds that the proposed project will have no potential for adverse impacts on the site's wildlife. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. Adopts the Negative Declaration prepared for Case PCUP-lll, the application of Carden West School for conditional use permit approval to allow the operation of a private school having a projected enrolment of up to 440 students from preschool through the eighth grade in an existing building located at 4576 Willow Road in the Hacienda Park. Section 2. Finds that the proposed project will have a de minimus impact on the site's wildlife.
