<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-2004-22 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON FOR A MODIFICATION TO AN APPROVED PLANNED UNIT <br />DEVELOPMENT DEVELOPMENT PLAN, AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-02-6M <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied for a modification to the approved Planned <br />Unit Development development plan for a self-service gasoline station with a <br />convenience market, quick-service restaurant, and carwash located at 1875 Valley <br />Avenue (southeast corner of Bernal Avenue and the Valley Avenue extension) to <br />require Planning Commission review of the signs for the quick-service restaurant <br />upon change of tenants; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD-C-O (Planned Unit Development - Commercial- <br />Office) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of March 24,2004, the Planning Commission <br />considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, projects ofthis nature are categorically exempt from the requirements of the <br />California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); therefore, no additional <br />environmental document was prepared for this project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed modification would be <br />consistent with other recently approved projects in the subdivision and would not <br />alter the natural topographical features of the area. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section I. <br /> <br />Recommends approval of Case PUD-02-6M, the application of the City of <br />Pleasanton for a modification to the approved Planned Unit Development <br />development plan for a self-service gasoline station with a convenience market, <br />quick-service restaurant, and carwash located at 1875 Valley Avenue (southeast <br />corner of Bernal Avenue and the Valley Avenue extension) to require Planning <br />Commission review of any change in signage on the site, subject to the conditions <br />shown in Exhibit "B," attached hereto and made part of this case by reference. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br />adoption. <br />
