<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-2004-19 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE APPLICATION OF STEVE AND <br />LAURA ZUNIGA FOR A MAJOR MODIFICATION TO A PLANNED UNIT <br />DEVELOPMENT DEVELOPMENT PLAN AND FOR DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL, <br />AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-79-02-12MIPADR-916 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Steve and Laura Zuniga have applied for a major modification to an approved <br />Planned Unit Development development plan to allow construction outside ofthe <br />building envelope and for design review approval for an approximately IS-foot <br />high, 1,200-square-foot detached second unit at 2350 Gloria Court; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD-LDR (Planned Unit Development - Low Density <br />Residential) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of March 10,2004, the Planning Commission <br />considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt from the requirements of the <br />California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); therefore, no additional <br />environmental document was prepared for this project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed modification would be <br />consistent with other recently approved projects in the subdivision and would not <br />alter the natural topographical features of the area. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Recommends approval of Case PUD-79-02-12M/PADR-9l6, the application of <br />Steve and Laura Zuniga for a modification to the approved Planned Unit <br />Development development plan to allow construction outside of the building <br />envelope and for design review approval for an approximately IS-foot high, <br />1,200-square-foot detached second unit at 2350 Gloria Court, subject to the <br />conditions shown in Exhibit "8," attached hereto and made part of this case by <br />reference. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br />adoption. <br /> <br />I I <br />
