<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-2004-05 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE APPLICATION OF <br />VALLEY PARK ASSOCIATES, LLC, FOR AN AMENDMENT TO THE <br />DOWNTOWN SPECIFIC PLAN, AS FILED UNDER CASE PSP-5 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Valley Park Associates, LLC has applied to amend the Downtown Specific Plan <br />to allow a partial two-story building at 325 Ray Street where only one-story <br />buildings are permitted; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of January 14,2004, the Planning Commission <br />considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning the Specific Plan amendment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission approved the negative declaration prepared for this <br />Specific Plan amendment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the Specific Plan amendment is <br />consistent with the City's General Plan and the Downtown Specific Plan. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Recommends approval of Case PSP-5, the application of Valley Park Associates, <br />LLC, to amend the Downtown Specific Plan to allow a partial two-story building <br />at 325 Ray Street where only one-story buildings are permitted, as shown on <br />Exhibit "D," attached hereto and made part of this case by reference. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br />adoption. <br />
