_ Commissioner Arkin moved that the Commission concur with sending the letter to <br />the County, with the modifications as discussed. <br />Commissioner Blank seconded the motion. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Arkin, Blank, Fox, and Roberts. <br />NOES: None. <br />ABSTAIN: None. <br />RECUSED: None. <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Maas. <br />The motion carried. <br />Discussion of Temnorary and Permanent Window Signs for Commercial <br />Businesses <br />This item was continued to a future meeting. <br />Livermore Heliport <br />Chairperson Roberts advised that someone wanted to install a heliport in the South <br />Livermore Valley within the urban growth boundary on a large lot. <br />Union Jack Pub <br />Commissioner Arkin inquired whether there was interest in having the Union Jack's <br />conditional use permit reviewed for compliance at a further Planning Commission <br />meeting. <br />Commissioner Blank noted that he could support it. <br />Commissioner Fox added that she could also support the review. <br />Ms. Kline advised that it could be brought before the Planning Commission under <br />Matters Initiated as a report and summary, or as a public hearing. <br />Commissioner Arkin noted that he preferred a public hearing. <br />There was consensus among the Commissioners for a public hearing. <br />8.
