Pleasanton by Resolution No. 2423 initiated proceedings on its <br />own motion and without requiring a petition therefor. that the <br />boundaries of the City of Pleasanton be altered and the <br />territory hereinafter described be annexed to the City of <br />Pleasanton and incorporated therein. <br /> <br /> That as provided and required by law, said Resolution <br />No. 2423 fixed and stated the time and place when and where <br />the 0ity Council of the City of Pleasanton would hear protest <br />made by any .0erson owning real property within the territory <br />mentioned and described in said Resolution No, 2423, and said <br />Resolution No. 2423 having been published for the time and in <br />the manner required by law, in newspapers (one of such newspapers <br />being a newspaper published within the City of Pleasanton, and <br />one of such newspapers being a newspaper published in the County <br />of Alameda, but outside of the City of Pleasanton). <br /> <br /> That on the 14th day of February. 1955, at the hour <br /> <br />of eight (8;00) o[clock P. M. in the Council Chamber of the City <br />Council of the City of Pleasanton. that being the time and <br />plsce fixed and stated in said Resolution No. 2423, said Council <br />met in session to hear protests against such annexation of said <br />territory to the City of Pleasanton, and which hereby found and <br />determined that no person or persons filed written protest or <br />protests against such annexation at any time, and it is hereby <br />specifically found and determined that protest against said <br />proposed annexation of such territory to the City of Pleasanton <br />is not made by the o~ner or owners of any of the property <br />proposed to be annexed to the City of Pleasan~on. <br /> <br /> Section 2. The City Council of ~he City of Pleasanton,; <br />being the legislative body of ~he City of Pleasan~on, a municipal <br />corporation of the sixth class, does hereby approve that there <br /> <br /> <br />
