Stanley Boulevard/Bernal Avenue Corridor Signaee <br />Commissioner Arkin advised that he would like to have signage detail in the Stanley <br />Boulevard/Bernal Avenue corridor to come before the Planning Commission because of <br />the area's sensitivity. <br />Lemoine Property <br />Commissioner Sullivan inquired whether the six-foot-high solid wooden fence had been <br />approved by the Commission. <br />Wes Jost noted that it was a temporary whipsnake fence for construction. <br />City Manager's Departure <br />Commissioner Sullivan wished to acknowledge that City Manager Deborah Acosta <br />McKeehan would be leaving, and he wished to thank her for doing an excellent job. She <br />had been very helpful to him as a Commissioner and as a private citizen. <br />Commissioner Arkin advised that all of his interactions with Deborah had been very <br />positive. <br />Commissioner Kameny left the meeting at this point. <br />Kottinaer Hills Council Workshop <br />Chairperson Roberts advised that she received a notice for a development review process <br />for Kottinger Hills on Tuesday, February 17, 2004. She had already responded to the <br />EIR and inquired what the notice referred to. <br />Mr. Iserson advised that the applicants requested that the issue of the process go directly <br />to City Council and that they asked for direction from the Council. <br />Ms. Nerland advised that they requested a Council workshop to get some general <br />direction and noted that it was not customary because the environmental review had not <br />proceeded. The developer did not wish to spend significant funds on consultants if the <br />proposal was not in line with what was likely to be approved. She understood that the <br />developer pushed very hard for this workshop. <br />8. MATTERS FOR COMMISSION'S REVIEW/ACTION <br />a.
