Approve "Option A" as set forth in this report and inform the property <br /> owner of the City's willingness to meet with a prospective owner/developer <br /> of the subject property to maximize unit affordability in accordance with the <br /> Inclusionary Zoning Ordinance and interests of the City Council. <br /> <br /> 2. Inform the owner that the City Council would consider a request for <br /> Inclusionary Unit Credits in accordance with the Inclusionary Zoning <br /> Ordinance. <br /> <br />HOUSING COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: <br /> <br /> Advise the property owner to sell the property or to directly secure a <br /> developer ("Option A") per the staff recommendation, and recommend that <br /> the City Council consider allowing the project to market Inclusionary Unit <br /> Credits (IUC's) to other developments as a potential source of revenue for <br /> project funding. <br /> <br />SUMMARY: This report describes recent meetings with Mr. Frank Auf der Maur, Sr. <br /> regarding options for development of his vacant 2.76 acre site on Vineyard <br /> Avenue and alternatives for City involvement.
