AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE CONPENSATION OF <br /> THE CITY CLERK AND THE CITY TREASURER 0F <br /> THE TOWN OF PLEASANTON. <br /> <br /> The City Council of the Town of Pleasanton does ordain as <br /> follows ~ <br /> <br />SECTION 1. <br /> The City Clerk and the City Treasurer of the Town of <br /> Pleasanton shall, upon the commencement of their next <br /> terms of office, severally receive compensation as <br /> follows X <br /> First. The City Clerk shall receive a compensation of <br /> ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00) per month for <br /> all services required of him as City Clerk. <br /> Second. The City Treasurer shall receive a compensation <br /> of FORTY DOLLARS ( $40.00 ) per month for all <br /> services rendered by h~m as City Treasurers <br />SECTION 2, <br /> <br /> Commencing with his next term of office, the duties <br /> of the City Clerk shall be those required by law <br /> <br /> for the faittfful performance of his office, <br /> ordinances, resolutions or other orders of the City <br /> Council conferring additional duties upon the City <br /> Clerk, are herewith repealed, <br />,qECTION ~. <br /> Nothing in this ordinance shall be construed to <br /> prohibit the City Council from hereafter conferring <br /> upon the City Clerk, by ordinance or resolution, <br /> duties in addition to those required of him as City <br /> Clerk, at such compensation as the City Council shall <br /> deem reasonable, <br /> <br /> <br />
