<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-96-90 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE APPLICATION OF C.M. <br />CENTERPROP FOR DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL, AS FILED UNDER CASE <br />PUD-80-16-14D <br /> <br />WHEREAS, C.M. Centerprop has applied for design review approval to construct an <br />approximately 134,143 sq. ft., four-story tall office building located on an <br />approximately 5.625-acre site at 5050 Hopyard Road in the Signature Center <br />Business Park; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD - I1C-O (Planned Unit Development - <br />Industrial/Commercial and Office) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of November 20, 1996, the Planning <br />Commission considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and <br />recommendations of the City staff concerning this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposed project is covered by the existing Negative Declaration previously <br />approved by the City Council for PUD-80-16-3M; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed project achieves a high <br />level of design quality and will complement the established design character of <br />the area. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Recommends approval of Case PUD-80-16-14D, the application of C.M. <br />Centerprop, for design review approval to construct an approximately 134,143 sq. <br />ft., four-story tall office building located on an approximately 5.625-acre site at <br />5050 Hopyard Road in the Signature Center Business Park, subject to the <br />conditions shown in Exhibit "B," attached hereto and made part of this case by <br />reference. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br />adoption. <br />
