ORDINANCE NO. 215 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SUBDIVISICNS <br /> ~ AND 6 OF SECTION 5, AND SECTIONS <br /> 11, 12, 13 AND 1~ OF ORDINANCE 85 <br /> FOR THE TOWN OF PLEASANTON, AND <br /> REPEALING ORDINANCES 105, 112, 115, <br /> 139, 165, 198 AND 205 FOR THE TOWN <br /> OF PLEASANTON. <br /> <br />The Council of the Town of Pleasanton ordains as follows: <br /> <br />SECTION 1: <br /> <br /> Subdivisions ~. and 6 of Section 5, and Sections 11, 12, <br /> <br />13 and 1~ of Ordinance No. 85 of the Town of Pleasanton are <br />hereby amended to read am follows: <br /> <br /> "Section 5, Subdivi.~ion ~. The installation of all <br /> water meters herein provided shall be made by the <br /> Town of Pleasanton at no cost to the property <br /> owner, except as Drovided in Subdivision 6 of this <br /> section, and said meters shall'be the standard <br /> 3/I~ inch size, unless the property owner shall <br /> request a larger size, in which event he shall pay <br /> to the Town of Pleasanton the difference between <br /> the cost of the meter so requested and the cost of <br /> the standard 3/h inch meter. x <br /> <br /> "Section 5, Subdivision 6. In case the property <br /> owner desires more than one meter, in accordance <br /> with Subdivision 2 of this section, he shall pay <br /> to the Town of Pleasanton a sum of money in <br /> accordance with schedules to be approved by the <br /> Town Council, to reimburse the Town of Pleasanton <br /> for the cost of installing said meters, including <br /> the cost of the meters. Said payment shall <br /> eccompeny the demand for connection of water <br /> meters in accordance with Subdivision 2 of this <br /> section." <br /> <br /> "Section 11. For each service specified in this <br /> Ordinance under Section I hereof, the Droperty <br /> owner shall pay to the Town of Pleasanton the <br /> sum of $2.50 per month, or fraction thereof, <br /> ~.ayable in advance, commencing with the installa- <br /> tion of the tad for ,~uch service, end continuing <br /> until such tan is disconnected." <br /> <br /> "Section 12. The Dayment of the sum of ~2.50 <br /> [.~er month prescribed if: Section ll hereof, shall <br /> entitle the property owner, if connected with <br /> the meter, to 1,000 cubic feet of water for use <br /> during each month, end-. for each and every 100 <br /> cubic feet of water, or fraction thereof, over <br /> and above said 1,000 cubic feet used by each <br /> service provided in this Ordinance under Section 1 <br /> hereof, d. urin~ any one month, the property owner <br /> <br /> -1-- <br /> <br /> <br />
