PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON

ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA

RESOLUTION NO. PC-96-S1

RESOLUTION FINDING THAT THE ABANDONMENT OF BAKER DRIVE IS IN
CONFORMANCE WITH THE GENERAL PLAN

WHEREAS, the Prudential Insurance Company of America has submitted an application for a
minor modification to PUD-81-30, the PUD development plan for the Hacienda
Business Park, to allow the abandonment of Baker Drive and to merge eight
parcels into two parcels: and

WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - I/C-O
(Industrial/Commercial-Office) District; and

WHEREAS, at its duly noticed meeting of October 23, 1996, the Planning Commission
considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the
City staff concerning this matter; and

WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the abandonment of Baker Drive would
result in little, if any, impacts to total traffic or LOS at the major intersections as a
result of the abandonment, and that with only two parcels, the number of
driveways to the collectors and arterials will be minimized with better control of
traffic movements into and out of the parcels; and

WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the abandonment of Baker Drive is in
conformance with the City's General Plan.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON
RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING:

Section I Finds that the abandonment of Baker Drive is in conformance with the City's General
Plan.

Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
