<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-96-79 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF RED ROBIN <br />RESTAURANTIWESTERN FRANCHISE DEVELOPMENT, INC. FOR DESIGN <br />REVIEW APPROVAL, AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-85-08-9D <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Red Robin RestaurantlWestern Franchise Development, Inc. has applied for <br />design review approval to construct an approximately 7,240 square foot sit-down <br />restaurant located at 4503 Rosewood Drive (the northwest corner of Rosewood <br />Drive and Owens Drive) in the Metro 580 Center; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD - I/C-O; MCOIPD (Planned Unit Development- <br />Mixed Commercial Office Industrial Planned Development) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of October 23, 1996, the Planning <br />Commission considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and <br />recommendations of the City staff concerning this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an Environmental Impact Report was prepared in conjunction with the PUD <br />approval for the entire Hacienda Business Park and the proposed project is within <br />the scope of the ErR; therefore, no environmental document was prepared for this <br />project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed project design will be <br />attractive and compatible with WalMartlMetro 580 Center, and that the proposed <br />landscape plan meets the requirements of the Hacienda Design Guidelines. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Approves Case PUD-85-08-9D, the application of Red Robin Restaurant/Western <br />Franchise Development, Inc., for design review approval to construct an <br />approximately 7,240 square foot sit-down restaurant located at 4503 Rosewood <br />Drive (the northwest comer of Rosewood Drive and Owens Drive) in the Metro <br />580 Center, subject to the conditions shown in Exhibit "B," attached hereto and <br />made part of this case by reference. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective 15 days after its passage and adoption <br />unless appealed prior to that time. <br />
