27 California Code of Regulations ("CCR") § 20164. <br /> <br /> 1.9.3 Ha?~rdous Waste. The term, "hazardous waste", means "ba?~rdous <br />waste"as defined in 14 CCR § 17225.32. <br /> <br /> 1.9.4 Inert Waste. The term, "inert waste", means "inert waste" as <br />defined in 14 CCR § 18720(a)(32). <br /> <br /> 1.9.5 Sludge. The term, "sludge", means "sludge" as defined in 14 CCR <br />§ Ig720(A)(69). <br /> <br /> 1.9.6 Special Waste. The term, "special waste", means "special waste" as <br />defined in 14 CCR § 18720(a)(73). <br /> <br /> 2. Testi¢g and Advance Notice Prior to Accenting Soil and Certain Material. <br /> <br /> 2.1 The operator shall not accept for any use or disposal more than ten (10) <br />cubic yards of any soil known or reasonably suspected by WMAC to come from a contaminated <br />site without first requiring submittal of, and reviewing, the following information: <br /> <br /> (i) Results of laboratory testing of the soil for its hazardous materials content <br /> and suitability for acceptance in a municipal solid waste landfill; <br /> <br /> (ii) A statement identifying the source of the soil and the location of the <br /> source property; and <br /> <br /> (iii) Any required notification from appropriate regulatory agencies that the <br /> soil may be accepted for use or disposal at ALRRF. <br /> <br /> 2.2 The operator shall not accept for any use or disposal any material that (a) <br />requires a variance ~rom the then existing permit conditions at ALRRF in order to be accepted <br />there, or (b) is a hazardous waste that has been declassified or is proposed to be declassified for <br />purpose of acceptance at ALRRF, without first requiring submittal of, and reviewing, the <br />following information at least ten (10) days in advance of acceptance of such material at <br />ALRRF: <br /> <br /> (i) Results of laboratory testing of the material for its hazardous materials <br /> · content and suitability for acceptance in a municipal solid waste landfill; <br /> <br /> (ii) A statement identifying the soume of the material and the location of the <br /> source property; and <br /> <br /> (iii) Notification from appropriate regulatory agencies that the material may be <br /> accepted for use or disposal at ALRRF. <br /> <br /> 5-A <br /> Final ARamont Settlement - Exhibit A <br /> <br /> <br />
