FINANCIAL IMPACT <br /> <br />There are adequate funds available in the COPS grant program to cover the implementation of <br />Nextel phones. Base monthly fees are expected to increase by about $350 per month. In <br />addition, monthly usage fees are likely to increase as the enhanced abilities of the new phones <br />become integrated into daily operations.
