ARTICLE 4 <br /> <br /> AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT <br /> <br /> Purpose. To preserve lands best suited for agricultural use from <br />the encroachment of incompatible uses, and to preserve in agricultural <br />use land suited to eventual development in other uses, pending proper <br />timing for the economical provision of utilities~ major streets, and <br />other facilities, so that compact, orderly development will occur. <br />Change of zoning district from A to any other zoning district shall <br />only be made in general accord with the Pleasanton General Plan. <br /> <br /> ~.100 Permitted Uses <br /> <br /> 4.101 Agriculture including any customary agricultural building <br />and structure and such uses as livestock ranges, animal husbandry, .~ ~ <br />field crops, row crops, tree crops, nurseries and greenhouses and <br />other agricultural occupations. <br /> <br /> 4.102 Ranch and farm dwellings appurtenant to a principal ag- <br />ricultural use. <br /> <br /> 4.103 Public parks and recreation areas. <br /> <br /> 4.200 Accessory Uses <br /> <br /> 4.201 Living quarters of persons regularly employed on the pre- <br />mises; but not including labor camps. <br /> <br /> 4.202 Cuest houses <br /> <br /> 4.203 Customary incidental home occupations, and professional <br />offices. <br /> <br /> 4.204 Offices incidental and necessary to the conduct of a per- <br />mitted use. <br /> <br /> 4.205 Private garages, parkin~ areas, and stables. <br /> <br /> 4.206 Roadside stands for the sale of agricultural items pro- <br />duced on the premises, not exceeding 1,000 square feet. <br /> <br /> 4.207 Name plates end signs not exceeding 200 square feet in <br />area concerning a permitted use. <br /> <br /> 4.208 Other accessory uses and buildings customary to a permitted <br />use. <br /> <br /> 4.300 .Co.M. itio~al Uses <br /> <br /> 4.301 Private non-connnercial recreation areas, uses and ~acilities. <br /> <br /> 4 <br /> <br /> <br />
