ORDINANCE NO, 309 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISKING LA~D USE DISTRICTS OR ZONES <br /> REGULATING THE USES OF LAND AND BUILDINGS, PRESCRIBING <br /> PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS AND REPEALING PARTS OF CON- <br /> FLICTING ORDINANCES <br /> <br /> The City Council of the City of Pleaeanton does ordain as follows: <br /> <br /> ARTICLE 1 <br /> <br /> ESTABLISHING ZONES <br /> <br /> 1ol This Ordinance is adopted to comply with Sections 65000 et seq, <br /> of the Government Code of the State of California and to provide the City <br /> of Pleasanton with a general plan and a precise zonin~ ordinance controll- <br /> ing use of land in the City of Pleasanton, <br /> <br /> 1,2 This Ordinance exercises the police pover of the City of <br /> Pleasenton to control growth and development expected in the City of <br /> Pleasanton, <br /> <br /> ARTICLE 2 <br /> <br /> ESTABLISHNENT AND DESIGNATION OP DISTRICTS <br /> <br /> 2,1 The Zoning Nap hereafter adopted divides the City into dis- <br /> tricts, designated as follows: <br /> <br /> A District - Agricultursl District <br /> R-E District - Residential Estate District <br /> R-1 District - Single family Residential District <br /> R-2 District - One and Two family Residential District <br />':' ~ R-G District - Garden Apartment Residential District <br />'~" ~ C-O District - Administrative and Professional Office District <br /> ~" ighb <br /> ~. C-N District - Ne orhood Co~nercial Distr~ct <br />,;: C-C District - Cormunity Connnercial District <br />..o.9 ~' C-T District - Thoroughfare Commercial District <br />:~; ~' " C-G District - General Commercial District <br />~i~ I District - General Industrial District <br /> I-P District - Industrial Park District <br /> <br /> 2.2 All territox7 hereafter annexed to the City shall be desig- <br /> nated on the above zones in the annexation ordinance. Said annexed ter- <br /> ritory shall retain that soninS classificstion until zoned other~ise. <br /> <br /> 2.3 No building or part thereof or other structure shall be <br /> erected, altered, added to or enlarged in any manner other then pro- <br /> vided for in the particular district in x~hich the building my be <br /> located. No land or premises shall be used in any manner other than <br /> those uses listed for that particular district. <br /> <br /> <br />
