Receive information About Updated Commissioner’s Handbook <br /> <br />Recommendation: Receive information about updated commissioner’s handbook. <br /> <br />Assistant City Attorney Larrisa Seto presented an overview of the item and answered questions <br />from commissioners. <br /> <br />Chair Powers opened the item for public comment. There being no speaker’s Chair Powers <br />closed the public comment. <br /> <br />5. Discuss Evaluation Process and Meeting Format for Fiscal Year 2023/24 Housing and <br />Human Services Grant Program Review <br /> <br />Recommendation: Discuss evaluation process and meeting format for fiscal year 2023/24 <br />Housing and Human Services grant program review. <br /> <br />Recreation Manager Jay Ingram presented an overview of the item advising thirty (30) <br />applications received with approximately $487,000 combined funding available from CDBG <br />Public Services, CDBG Capital, and City of Pleasanton General funds. It was noted twenty-two <br />(22) applications were human services related and eight (8) were housing related applications <br />Mr Ingram answered questions presented by commissioner related to the item. <br /> <br />Chair Powers opened the item for public comment. There being no speaker’s Chair Powers <br />closed the public comment. <br /> <br />MOTION: It was m/s by Carlucci/Bedegi requesting staff invite representatives from Axis <br />Community Health, Hively, Hope Hospice, Inc., Open Heart Kitchen, Partners for Change Tri- <br />Valley, Sunflower Hill, Wishing Well Inc.,and Tri-Valley Haven to provide short presentations at <br />the March 2023 grant meeting offering information about the agency, the new leadership, and <br />the project funding request. <br /> <br />Ayes: Commissioners Bedegi, Carlucci, Cook, Dmitrien, Hayes, Rubino-Brumm, and <br /> Chair Powers <br /> Noes: None <br /> Absent: Commissioner Litz and Parikh <br /> <br />Chair Powers opened the item for public comment. There being no speaker’s Chair Powers <br />closed the public comment. <br /> <br />
