______________________________________________________________________________________________________ <br />Human Services Commission Minutes Page 2 June 7, 2023 <br />Vice Chair Bedegi and Recreation Manager, Jay Ingram introduced members of the Pleasanton <br />Police Department’s Alternative Response team. <br /> <br />Police representatives Lisa Cavellini and Ryan Tujague together with Social Worker Clara <br />Jeronimo provided a PowerPoint presentation on the work of the Alternative Response Unit <br />team and responded to questions and comments from commissioners. <br /> <br />3. Public Comment from the audience regarding items not listed on the agenda. <br /> <br />Vice Chair Bedegi opened public comment. There being no speakers Vice Chair Bedegi closed <br />the public comment. <br /> <br />MATTERS FOR THE COMMISSION’S REVIEW/ACTION/INFORMATION <br /> <br />4. None. <br /> <br />There were no matters for the commission’s review / action / information. <br /> <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY THE COMMISSION <br /> <br />Commissioner Rubino-Brumm commented on having participated in the Pleasanton Citizen’s <br />Academy and suggested other commissioners consider doing the same. <br /> <br />Commissioner Dmitriev commented on the PFAS water issue. <br /> <br />Vice Chair Bedegi commented on attending a recent Strategic Plan Focus Group. <br /> <br />STAFF COMMENTS <br /> <br />Recreation Manager Jay Ingram advised that the commission would not be meeting in July. <br /> <br />FUTURE AGENDA TOPICS <br /> <br />Strategic Plan presentation to be provided at the August meeting. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />There being no further business Vice Chair Bedegi adjourned the meeting at 8:39 p.m. <br /> <br /> <br />NEXT MEETING: August 2, 2023 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
