<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-96-76 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE APPLICATION OF <br />SUMMERFIELD SUITES DEVELOPMENT COMPANY, INC. FOR PLANNED <br />UNIT DEVELOPMENT MODIFICATIONS AS FILED UNDER CASE <br />PUD-81-30-34M <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Summerfield Suites Development Company, Inc. has applied for PUD (Planned <br />Unit Development) modifications to change the Hacienda Business Park land use <br />designation for Site 13F from MOIPD (Mixed Office, Research and <br />Development/Light Manufacturing Planning District) to MCOIPD (Mixed <br />Retail/CommerciallFinancial, Office and Research and DevelopmentlLight <br />Manufacturing Planning District) and to allow hotel uses on the subject site in the <br />Hacienda Business Park; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - I/C-O (Planned <br />Unit Development - Industrial, Commercial and Offices) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of October 9, 1996, the Planning Commission <br />considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits and recommendations ofthe <br />City staff concerning this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposed project is within the scope of the Environmental Impact Report <br />prepared in conjunction with the PUD approval for the entire Hacienda Business <br />Park; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the PUD modification to redesignate <br />the subject parcel to the MCOIPD land use designation, and the PUD <br />modification to allow hotel uses on the subject parcel would have no adverse <br />impacts on the adjacent properties or the City, in general. <br />
