PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. PC-96-70 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF BRANAGH DEVELOPMENT FOR DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL, AS FILED UNDER CASE Z-96-125 WHEREAS, Branagh Development has applied for design review approval to construct a 13,768 square foot, two-story, mixed-use building consisting of an approximately 6,583 square foot first floor for retail space and an approximately 7,085 square foot second floor for eight apartment units located at 349 Main Street; and WHEREAS, zoning for the property is C-C (Central Commercial), Downtown Revitalization, Core Area Overlay District; and WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of September II, 1996, the Planning Commission, after considering all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the City staff concerning this application, approved the negative declaration for this project; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed project will provide an opportunity to fulfill some objectives for the Downtown Revitalization Plan and that the architectural style of the proposed building would be compatible with the architectural character of Downtown. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. Approves Case Z-96-125, the application of Branagh Development for design review approval to construct a 13,768 square foot, two-story, mixed-use building consisting of an approximately 6,583 square foot first floor for retail space and an approximately 7,085 square foot second floor for eight apartment units located at 349 Main Street, subject to the conditions shown in Exhibit "B," attached hereto and made part of this case by reference. Section 2. This resolution shall become effective 15 days after its passage and adoption unless appealed prior to that time.
