Regular Meeting Calendar 2026 <br /> <br />Recommendation: Approve the 2026 meeting calendar <br /> <br />Planning & Sustainability Specialist Megan Campbell presented the staff report. The proposed regular <br />meetings are January 21, April 15, August 19, and either November 4 or November 19. It was noted <br />that the April 15 and August 19 meetings would only be held if there was actionable City business <br />required the Commission's attention. The Commission discussed the proposed schedule and <br />expressed a preference for November 4. <br /> <br />MOTION: It was m/s by Bowman/Misra to approve the 2026 meeting calendar, as recommended, with <br />November 4 as the November meeting date. Motion passed by the following roll call vote: <br /> <br />Ayes: Commissioners Bowman, Misra, Thomas, and Vice Chair Nene <br />Noes: None <br /> Absent: Commissioner Liu and Chair Bloom <br /> Abstain: None <br /> <br />5. Selection of Chair and Vice Chair <br /> <br />Recommendation: Select a chair and vice chair for 2026 <br /> <br />Planning & Sustainability Specialist Megan Campbell presented the staff report. The Energy and <br />Environment Commission discussed the potential chair and vice chair. <br /> <br />MOTION: It was m/s by Thomas/Misra to nominate Vice Chair Nene for Chair and Commissioner <br />Bowman as Vice Chair. <br /> <br />Ayes: Commissioners Bowman, Misra, Thomas, and Vice Chair Nene <br />Noes: None <br /> Absent: Commissioner Liu and Chair Bloom <br /> Abstain: None <br /> <br />6. Selection of Subcommittee Representatives <br /> <br />Recommendation: Select a BPTC subcommittee representative, primary and alternate <br /> <br />Planning & Sustainability Specialist Megan Campbell presented the staff report.
