<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-96-67 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF BRITANNIA <br />DEVELOPMENT FOR PUD DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL, AS FILED UNDER <br />CASE PUD-81-30-67D <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Britannia Development has applied for PUD design review approval to allow the <br />construction of a two-story office building totaling 129,800 square feet on 7.46 <br />acres of land ( a portion of Site 14A) in the Hacienda Business Park, generally <br />located at the northeast corner of the Hopyard Road/Coronado Lane intersection; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - I/C-O <br />(Industrial/Commercial - Office) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of September II, 1996, the Planning <br />Commission considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and <br />recommendations of the City staff concerning this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an Environmental Impact Report was prepared in conjunction with the PUD <br />approval for the entire Hacienda Business Park and the proposed project is within <br />the scope of the EIR; therefore, no environmental document was prepared for this <br />project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed project meets or exceeds <br />all applicable requirements of the design guidelines established for the Hacienda <br />Business Park and the proposed buildings are well designed. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Approves Case PUD-81-30-67D, the application of Britannia Development, for <br />PUD design review approval to allow the construction of a two-story office <br />building totaling 129,800 square feet on 7.46 acres ofland ( a portion of Site 14A) <br />in the Hacienda Business Park, generally located at the northeast corner ofthe <br />Hopyard Road/Coronado Lane intersection, subject to the conditions shown in <br />Exhibit "B," attached hereto and made part of this case by reference. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective 15 days after its passage and adoption <br />unless appealed prior to that time. <br />
