PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. PC-96-65 RESOLUTION FINDING THAT WINEMAKING ESTABLISHMENTS SHOULD BE CLASSIFIED AS MICRO BREWERIES WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has requested a determination on whether a business where a customer makes his or her own wine shall be considered to be similar to and classified the same as a "micro brewery; and WHEREAS, at its duly noticed meeting of August 28, 1996, the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the City staff concerning this matter; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that a business where a customer makes his or her own wine on the premises for their personal use shall be considered to be similar to and classified the same as a "microbrewery" as defined in the Pleasanton Municipal Code. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. Finds that a business where a customer makes his or her own wine on the premises for their personal use shall be considered to be similar to and classified the same as a "microbrewery" as defined in the Pleasanton Municipal Code. Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
