<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-96-65 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION FINDING THAT WINEMAKING ESTABLISHMENTS SHOULD BE <br />CLASSIFIED AS MICRO BREWERIES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has requested a determination on whether a business where <br />a customer makes his or her own wine shall be considered to be similar to and <br />classified the same as a "micro brewery; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed meeting of August 28, 1996, the Planning Commission <br />considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this matter; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that a business where a customer makes his or her <br />own wine on the premises for their personal use shall be considered to be similar <br />to and classified the same as a "microbrewery" as defined in the Pleasanton <br />Municipal Code. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Finds that a business where a customer makes his or her own wine on the <br />premises for their personal use shall be considered to be similar to and classified <br />the same as a "microbrewery" as defined in the Pleasanton Municipal Code. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON ON THE 28TH DAY OF AUGUST 1996 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />Commissioner Cooper, Dove, Lutz, and McGuirk, and Chairperson Barker <br />None <br />Commissioner Wright <br />None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />(.lJ~~<:~~ <br />Peggy <br />City Clerk <br /> <br />!~ f. ~ <br /> <br />Chairman <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />95~~ <br /> <br />Dennis Beougher <br />Assistant City Attorney <br />
