<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-96-59 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION FOR THE APPLICATION OF BRAD HIRST AND THOMAS <br />PROPERTIES, AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-80-16-8M/PUD-80-16-13D <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Brad Hirst and Thomas Properties have submitted an application for a Planned <br />Unit development major modification to allow the construction of an <br />approximately 62,188 square foot, one-and two-story office, research and <br />development, and light manufacturing building located on an approximately <br />3.96-acre site on the northeast corner of Stone ridge Drive and Bradley Drive by <br />the existing Bank of America building; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - I/C-O <br />(Industrial/Commercial-Office) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of August 14, 1996, the Planning Commission received a proposed <br />negative declaration prepared for Case PUD-80-16-8M and PUD-80-16-13D; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated <br />August 14, 1996, and received the recommendations of staff; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the <br />opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts ofthe proposal; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with <br />the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that approval of the proposed project would not <br />have any significant adverse effects on the environment. <br />
