<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-96-56 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF BOEHRINGER MANNHEIM <br />CORPORA TION/DES ARCHITECTS AND ENGINEERS FOR PLANNED UNIT <br />DEVELOPMENT DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL, AS FILED UNDER CASE <br />PUD-8l-30-64D <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Boehringer Mannheim Corporation has applied for PUD design review approval <br />to allow the construction of a two-story, 91,839 square foot administration and <br />research and development office building, and a one-story, 86,230 sq.ft. <br />operations and warehouse building on a 33.36 acre parcel (a portion of Site 6 in <br />the Hacienda Business Park) located at 4300 Hacienda Drive; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - I/C-O <br />(Industrial/Commercial - Office) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of July 24, 1996, the Planning Commission <br />considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an Environmental Impact Report was prepared in conjunction with the PUD <br />approval for the entire Hacienda Business Park; therefore, no environmental <br />document was prepared for this project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposed plan meets or exceeds all <br />applicable requirements ofthe design guidelines established for Hacienda <br />Business Park. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Approves Case PUD-81-30-64D, the application of Boehringer Mannheim <br />Corporation, for PUD design review approval to allow the construction of a <br />two-story, 91,839 square foot administration and research and development office <br />building, and a one-story, 86,230 sq.ft. operations and warehouse building on a <br />33.36 acre parcel (a portion of Site 6 in the Hacienda Business Park) located at <br />4300 Hacienda Drive, subject to the conditions shown in Exhibit "B," attached <br />hereto and made part of this case by reference. <br />
