<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-96-53 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION FINDING THAT THE CITY AND COUNTY OF SAN FRANCISCO'S <br />AND ALAMEDA COUNTY'S PROPOSED PUBLIC STRUCTURES WITHIN LANDS <br />CURRENTLY OWNED BY SAN FRANCISCO WATER DEPARTMENT AS SHOWN <br />IN THE BERNAL SPECIFIC PLAN ARE NOT IN CONFORMANCE WITH THE <br />PLEASANTON GENERAL PLAN <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the San Francisco Water Department has submitted a Specific Plan for the Bernal <br />Avenue property, an approximately 508-acre, triangular-shaped site bounded by <br />the Arroyo de la Laguna to the west, Bernal Avenue to the north, and the easterly <br />edge ofthe Alameda County Transportation Corridor to the southeast, for <br />development under Alameda County's jurisdiction; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Alameda County Planning Department has requested confirmation that the <br />proposed public buildings and structures on the Bernal A venue site are in <br />conformance with the Pleasanton General Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City and County of San Francisco has also requested confirmation that its <br />proposed public buildings and structures on the Bernal A venue site are in <br />conformance with the City's General Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed meeting of July 10, 1996, the Planning Commission <br />considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this matter; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposed public buildings and structures <br />as depicted in the Specific Plan for the Bernal Property as processed through <br />Alameda County's jurisdiction are not in conformance with the City of <br />Pleasanton's General Plan. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Finds that the proposed Alameda County and City and County of San Francisco <br />public buildings and structures as depicted in the Specific Plan for the Bernal <br />Property, an approximately 508-acre, triangular-shaped site bounded by the <br />Arroyo de la Laguna to the west, Bernal Avenue to the north, and the easterly <br />edge of the Alameda County Transportation Corridor to the southeast, as <br />processed through Alameda County's jurisdiction are not in conformance with the <br />City of Pleasant on's General Plan. <br />
