Approval of the Consent Calendar which included August 21, 2025, meeting minutes were <br />approved as presented on motion by Vice Chair Steve McCoy Thompson and second by <br />Ken Benhamou. The motion passed unanimously. <br /> <br />MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br />Chair Wilson opened public comment. There were no public comments. Chair Wilson closed <br />public comment. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS AND OTHER MATTERS <br /> <br />2. Receive Pleasanton Unified School District’s Youth Apprenticeship and Work-Based <br />Learning Overview Presentation and Provide Feedback <br />Dr. Amos Nugent, Director of Career Pathways and Adult Learning and Kim Greenhouse, <br />Work-Based Learning Teacher with the Pleasanton Unified School District presented an <br />overview of the Youth Apprenticeship and Work-Based Learning Program which included an <br />overview of Chamber partnership, 6-point Approach for the program, pre-apprenticeship <br />pipeline, current program status and potential, as well as the 2025-2026 goals.
