1N THE CITY COLU'ICIL OF TIlE CITY OF PLK~S~'iTON <br /> CO~!.tlfY OF AL~dvIEDA~ STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> Ordinance <br /> Designating City Holidays <br /> <br /> W]iEREAS, Section 6700 et.sec. of the Goverrm~ent Code provides that <br />Cities nu.y have ordinances designating holidays differant than those <br />fixed by the legislature of the State of California~ <br /> <br /> NOW (U![EREFO~E THE CITY COUNCIL DOES HEtlEBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The official holidays for the City of Pleasanton, its <br />officers an& employees~ are hereby fixed as follows: <br /> <br /> New Year ' s Day Independence Day <br /> Washington ' s Birthday labor Day <br /> Good Friday from 12:00 Admission Day <br /> Noon to 3:00 P.M. Thanksgiving Day <br /> Memorial Day Christmas Day <br /> <br /> 2.
