PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. PC-96-47 RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF CASE RZ-96-01, THE APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON TO AMEND THE PLEASANTON MUNICIPAL CODE TO ADD "SECONDARY UNITS" AS CONDITIONALLY PERMITTED USES WHEREAS, the City of Pleasant on has applied to amend the "Definitions" and "Residential" sections of the Pleasanton Municipal Code to add "Secondary Units" as conditionally permitted uses; and WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of June 26, 1996, the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the City staff concerning this application; and WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt from the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed changes will be of benefit to both City staff and the public in interpreting the Municipal Code. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section I. Section 2. Recommends approval of Case RZ-96-0 I, the application of the City of Pleasanton to amend the "Definitions" and "Residential" sections of the Pleasanton Municipal Code to add "Secondary Units" as conditionally permitted uses, as shown on Exhibit "A," attached hereto and made part of this case by reference. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ON THE 26TH DAY OF JUNE 1996 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: AYES: NOES: ABSENT: ABSTAIN: Commissioners Barker, Cooper, Wright, and Chairman Lutz None Commissioners Dove and McGuirk None
