<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-96-47 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF CASE RZ-96-01, THE <br />APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON TO AMEND THE PLEASANTON <br />MUNICIPAL CODE TO ADD "SECONDARY UNITS" AS CONDITIONALLY <br />PERMITTED USES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasant on has applied to amend the "Definitions" and "Residential" <br />sections of the Pleasanton Municipal Code to add "Secondary Units" as <br />conditionally permitted uses; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of June 26, 1996, the Planning Commission <br />considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt from the requirements of the <br />California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed changes will be of benefit <br />to both City staff and the public in interpreting the Municipal Code. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section I. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />Recommends approval of Case RZ-96-0 I, the application of the City of <br />Pleasanton to amend the "Definitions" and "Residential" sections of the <br />Pleasanton Municipal Code to add "Secondary Units" as conditionally permitted <br />uses, as shown on Exhibit "A," attached hereto and made part of this case by <br />reference. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON ON THE 26TH DAY OF JUNE 1996 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />Commissioners Barker, Cooper, Wright, and Chairman Lutz <br />None <br />Commissioners Dove and McGuirk <br />None <br />
