Pleasanton Municipal Code <br />Additional Sections and Chapters <br />opportunity site residential development is compatible with Pleasanton's existing high-quality <br />neighborhoods. <br />§ 18.22.060 Procedures <br />B. Once an application is deemed complete, public notice shall be provided pursuant to Section <br />18.12.040, and on-site project notification shall be posted pursuant to Section 18.12.042. <br />surrounding property owners and residents within 1,000 feet of the project site will be mailed <br />notice by the planning division of the proposed zoning administrator action, or of the planning <br />commission meeting, as applicable. On-site project notification shall also be required, in <br />conformance with the city's adopted policy, with such notification the responsibility of the <br />applicant to install within a time frame specified by the planning division. <br /> C. In the case of projects subject to zoning administrator compliance review, if, within seven <br />days of mailing the above-referenced notice, the zoning administrator receives a request for <br />hearing, the zoning administrator shall schedule an administrative hearing within the time frame <br />established by state law. The zoning administrator's decision shall be made either <br />administratively, if no hearing is requested, or during the administrative hearing. <br />D. C. In the case of projects subject to planning commission compliance review, the planning <br />commission meeting shall be scheduled within the time frame established by state law. The <br />planning commission's decision shall be made during the meeting. <br />E. D. The zoning administrator or planning commission, as specified, shall approve the project if <br />it complies with: (1) the requirements of the 2023 ODS and any other applicable objective <br />standards established with adopted city plans and documents which were in place when the <br />application was received; and (2) any applicable mitigation measure(s) of any applicable <br />environmental document(s). <br />§ 18.22.070 Effective Date of Decision <br />A. Decision shall be effective pursuant to Section 18.144.050 Within five days of the date of the <br />zoning administrator's or planning commission's decision on a project subject to housing site <br />compliance review, the secretary shall transmit written notice of the decision to the planning <br />commission and/or city council, and the applicant. uUnless a timely appeal or review is filed as <br />provided in Chapter 18.144. Section 18.22.080 of this chapter, or unless the planning <br />commission and/or the city council elects to review the decision of the zoning administrator, the <br />decision shall be effective on the later of the following: <br />1. The day following the first meeting of the city council after the city council has <br /> received notice of the decision; or <br />2.
