!N Tv~ CITI/COLU':JCIL OF TiM CiTY OF P.I~,~'\SANTON ]0UNTY 0F A~DA, STATE 0F CALIFORN~ O~INSCE NO. 288 AN O~INSCE APPROViNG T~ S~ITION OF CER~IN ~{IN~BIT~ ~ITORY, DESIG~T~ "~TION N0. 9 ~ FAiRCRON,~S ~{NEX"TO T}~] CI~ OF P~S~TON BE IT 0RDA!NED BY i~-~ COUNCIL OF T}~ CITY OF PLEASANTON: N~.EPSAS, on April 25~ 1.958, the Council of the City of Pleasanton did pass and adopt Resolution No. 2759 giving notice of the proposal to annex certain tininhabited territory to the City of Pleasanton, said territory being therein designated. as "Annexation No. 9~ Fairgrounds Arn~ex~ said Resolution describing the boundaries of the territory proposed to be eainexed; and WFfKREAS, said Resolution No. 2759 did contain a notice of the day, hour and place when and where the Council of the City would hear protests mz. de by any person o~ming real property within the territory proposed to be annexed~ the time of said hearing being not less than fifteen nor more than fifty days from the date of passage of said Resolution; snd W}ERF~%S, on June 9, 1958, sit the hour of .~:00 P.M., in the Council Ch~ffoers in the City tlall of the City of Pleasanton, Co~mty of Alameda, State of California, said time and place being the 5ny, hour and place fixed in said. Resolution No. 2759 for hearing protests to the said annexation, the said City Council did hear ~md pass upon all protests made to the proposed annexation ~nd did detenuine that protests had not been made by the owners of one-half of the value of the territory proposed to be {annexed as by the last equalized assessment roll, nor by public and private o~n~ers of one-half of the value o~L~ the territory prot~3sed to be annexed as determined by said legislative body; and ~,W.~r2~lS~, said territo~V is contiguous to the City of Pleasanton, and is uninhabited territory in the County of Alameda;
