!N Tv~ CITI/COLU':JCIL OF TiM CiTY OF P.I~,~'\SANTON <br /> <br /> ]0UNTY 0F A~DA, STATE 0F CALIFORN~ <br /> <br /> O~INSCE NO. 288 <br /> <br /> AN O~INSCE APPROViNG T~ S~ITION OF <br /> CER~IN ~{IN~BIT~ ~ITORY, DESIG~T~ <br /> "~TION N0. 9 ~ FAiRCRON,~S ~{NEX"TO <br /> T}~] CI~ OF P~S~TON <br /> <br /> BE IT 0RDA!NED BY i~-~ COUNCIL OF T}~ CITY OF PLEASANTON: <br /> <br /> N~.EPSAS, on April 25~ 1.958, the Council of the City of Pleasanton did <br />pass and adopt Resolution No. 2759 giving notice of the proposal to annex <br />certain tininhabited territory to the City of Pleasanton, said territory <br />being therein designated. as "Annexation No. 9~ Fairgrounds Arn~ex~ said <br />Resolution describing the boundaries of the territory proposed to be <br />eainexed; and <br /> <br /> WFfKREAS, said Resolution No. 2759 did contain a notice of the day, <br /> <br />hour and place when and where the Council of the City would hear protests <br />mz. de by any person o~ming real property within the territory proposed to <br />be annexed~ the time of said hearing being not less than fifteen nor more <br />than fifty days from the date of passage of said Resolution; snd <br /> <br /> W}ERF~%S, on June 9, 1958, sit the hour of .~:00 P.M., in the Council <br />Ch~ffoers in the City tlall of the City of Pleasanton, Co~mty of Alameda, <br />State of California, said time and place being the 5ny, hour and place fixed <br />in said. Resolution No. 2759 for hearing protests to the said annexation, the <br />said City Council did hear ~md pass upon all protests made to the proposed <br />annexation ~nd did detenuine that protests had not been made by the owners <br />of one-half of the value of the territory proposed to be {annexed as <br />by the last equalized assessment roll, nor by public and private o~n~ers of <br />one-half of the value o~L~ the territory prot~3sed to be annexed as determined <br />by said legislative body; and <br /> <br /> ~,W.~r2~lS~, said territo~V is contiguous to the City of Pleasanton, and <br /> <br />is uninhabited territory in the County of Alameda; <br /> <br /> <br />
