<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-96-31 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION FOR THE CITY PURCHASE AND DEVELOPMENT OF THREE <br />VACANT PROPERTIES WITHIN THE HACIENDA BUSINESS PARK, AS FILED <br />UNDER CASE PUD-81-30-63D <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasant on has requested confirmation that the proposed City purchase <br />of three vacant parcels totaling approximately 6.65 acres located at 5665 <br />Stoneridge Drive and within the Alameda County Transportation Corridor <br />(Assessor Parcel Numbers 941-2746-7-1, 941-2764-7-2, and 941-2764-8-2) <br />within Hacienda Business Park for development of a City-owned neighborhood <br />park is in conformance with the General Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for these properties is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - ICO (Industrial, <br />Commercial, and Office) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of May 8,1996, the Planning Commission received a proposed <br />negative declaration prepared for Case PUD-81-30-63D; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated <br />March 21, 1996, and received the recommendations of staff; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the <br />opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with <br />the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that approval ofthe proposed project would not <br />have any significant adverse effects on the environment. <br /> <br />----~-_..,._-_._..._-_.._-----_.. ....-- <br />
